Instructions and sales rules
Booking the sales period:
Sales period reservations are made through Kirppari-Kalle online or on site at Ogelin kirppissecondhand market within opening hours.
Full service and pick-up service can be booked by email or on site at the market.
The first week of the sales period must be paid for at the time of booking, or no later than the first day of the sales period.
The reservation is binding and may not be canceled. In the event of a possible obstacle, the reservation fee is non-refundable, but the dates of the sales period can be changed. Our staff must be notified of the change in writing no later than 3 days before the start of the sales period. The payment for the spot will not be refunded, even if the sales period is missed unused.
Sales period:
The sales periods are 7 days, 14 days, and any other time period that can be agreed upon (sales spot + commission).
The sales days are counted as the opening days of the secondhand market, possible closing days will not shorten the sales period.
Items may be brought for sale on the day before the sales period during the last hour and on the first day of the sales period within opening hours.
Your sales booth may be restocked throughout the sales period. You can track sales through Kirppari-Kalle.
After the end of the sales period, the products must be picked up on the last day of sale an hour before closing time, at the latest.
At the end of the full-service sales period, unsold products must be picked up within 2 days or as agreed.
If the sales spot has not been emptied by the agreed time, €20 will be charged as a fee for emptying the booth.
Sales booth:
The sales booth includes a block of 4 shelves and a clothes rack that can hold about 20 items neatly displayed at one time. No additional furniture, such as your own shelves or boxes, may be added to the sales booth.
All products sold must be clean, intact, fragrance-free and in good condition.
We are not selling:
Dirty, broken, or strong-smelling products.
You may not sell food, alcohol, tobacco, medicines, illegal products, or devices that pose a risk to the user.
Ogelin Kirppis reserves the right to remove from sale unsuitable products and products against our terms and conditions..
Pricing:
All items for sale must be priced with barcoded pricing labels, sticker or paper, printed at Ogelin kirppis secondhand market. You can do the pricing manually or in the Kirppari-Kalle system. The information on the price tag may not be changed afterwards, but a new price tag must be made.
Attach the price tag well to the item, e.g. using a cardboard base, safety pin, or pins. If we find products without a price tag, our staff will collect them to a spot for items without a price tag. We do not sell items without price tags.
The barcode and price markings must be clear and easy to read. We store products without price tags left over from the sales period for 7 days, after which they will be transferred to the ownership of Ogelin kirppis secondhand market or delivered for recycling.
Ending of the sales period and settlement:
Pick up your unsold items on the last day of the sales period. At the end of the full-service sales period, unsold products must be picked up within 2 days or as agreed.
If the sales booth has not been emptied by the agreed time, there will be a fee of €20 for emptying the booth
The proceeds from the sale will be paid to the bank account provided by the seller within seven (7) business days after the end of the sales period. You can find the sales report on your KirppariKalle account. Make sure that your profile at KirppariKalle includes your personal information and bank account number. Be prepared to prove your identity when requesting a payout.
Other terms and conditions:
Ogelin kirppis is not responsible for your sales items and will not compensate for stolen or lost items from the sales booth. We do our best to prevent theft cases through camera surveillance and alarm ports.
For the most valuable items, we recommend alarms rentable at the cashier.
We store the products left over from the sales period for 7 days, after which they are transferred to the ownership of Ogelin kirppis or delivered to recycling.
Ogelin kirppis is not responsible for the destruction of items due to fire, water damage, vandalism, in the event of a burglary or other reason beyond the control of the company (force majeure).
Ogelin kirppis has the right to clean up and arrange a sales booth during the sales period. In order to promote sales, the staff has the right to place items also on other display furniture and photograph the products for Ogelin kirppis' social media.
Ogelin kirppis reserves the right to make changes on these terms and conditions.
